Glencoe

One of Scotland's many stunning landscapes, Glencoe is a favorite with photographers. This time I wanted to gain a little height in hopes of getting different perspectives of the landscape. But when I climbed up, I noticed the yellow fern in the creek bed. So climbed down and yes, that can give a nice picture. Unfortunately, you can't see anything of the landscape (which was overcast anyway - albeit with a rainbow), but I still really like the picture.

In the long exposure with neutral density filter, there was motion blur in the fern, so I used a shorter exposed second exposure there.
